Robin Precey graduated from Cambridge University and immediately qualified as a Geography teacher. He worked in schools all over England for 32 years holding leadership posts including headteacher of 2 large secondary schools. Whilst teaching he also completed a Masters degree (Leeds) and a Doctorate (Sussex).

For the last 13 years he has been at Canterbury Christ Church University in England including 8 as the Director of CELSI (The Centre for Education Leadership and School Improvement). He has been heavily involved in teaching (from undergraduate to Masters and Doctoral students) and consultancy (from one-to-one coaching to whole school professional development ). His research and publication interests are around leading change and developing leaders.

He is an international consultant facilitator with the National College for School leadership having been involved with the College since its inception on a wide range of programmes as well as facilitator training and assessment.

He now works 0.6 with CCCU and has his own consultancy (“Ethicaled”). He has worked on leadership development programmes in Rwanda, China, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey, Poland, Ireland, Lthuania and Pakistan and has been heavily involved in 3 successful Erasmus programmes.
